Partners and Golfers,

The 10th Annual Alister C. McGregor Memorial Golf Tournament is now complately booked with 36 Foursomes. If you have not entered a foursome and you would like to be on the alternate list, please, submit an email through our website at www.mcgregormemorial.org, or email, acmmf5@mcgregormemorial.org.

Foursomes that have entered, must get their fees in ASAP in order to keep that foursome in the Tournament. As you can imagine, with the change in venue, we have been swamped with requests from both returning and new golfers to play.

Check in on the day of the Tournament begins at 8AM with a shotgun start at 9AM. Coffee, donuts and muffins will be provided in the morning courtesy of the Martrins Family and Dunkin Donuts of East Providence. Lunch at the turn will be provided courtesy of the Boyce Family and Wings and Things, 250 Brook Street, Providence, RI

As in the past, we are cordially invting donor, sponsors and family members to join us for the dinner and raffle that will be held following the Tournament at approximately 3PM on Monday, September 12, 2011 which will be served at the Agawam Hunt Clubhouse. If you would like to join us for dinner or volunteer to help on the day of the Tournament, again, send us an email with your contact information through our website or email acmmf5@mcgregormemorial.org.

Dear Friends,

We are starting a little late in organizing the McGregor Memorial Golf Tournament this year for several reasons. The First being that the Board of Directors had been conducting a search for a new venue, preferably in East Providence, to hold the 10th year anniversary of the Tournament. Today, I am announcing the Board's decision.

The 10th Annual Alister C. McGregor Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at Agawam Hunt, 15 Roger Williams Avenue, East Providence, RI on Monday, September 12, 2011. There will be registration at 8am, with a shotgun start at 9am. Coffee and pastries will be served in the morning. Lunch will be served at the turn. A dinner buffet will follow golf and a raffle, all to be held at the Agawam Hunt Clubhouse.

The cost per golfer will remain $125.00 ($500.00 per foursome) It is important that you forward your entry fees no later than July 15th, 2011 to ensure that you have a spot in the Tournament. As you know, the Tournament is always completely filled and we have expanded our invitations to outside police agencies and organizations. So, get your foursomes in early. Your entries, with the names in your foursome and a check or money order, can be mailed to the Alister C McGregor Memorial Fund, 500 Waterman Avenue, East Providence, RI, 02914.

The second reason for our delay was that we had lost all our electronic files for the Tournament. They have been reconstructed and we are ready to go. Those of you who placed orders for/or won merchandise will be receiving a call over the next week. I also have spoken to several of our donors who did not received their letters and boosters. We will be sending new letters and promotional materials within the next two weeks.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Karl and the staff at Triggs Memorial Golf Course for their hard work and support over the past five years. I would also like to thank Yogi and the crew at Sandbaggers for feeding us and quenching our thirsts over that same period of time. It was a long and difficult decision to make the move.

On a personal note, I want to thank Karl Augenstein for his friendly and encouraging response to our move. He is a good friend. Karl, you're a class act. I will see you soon. Thank you for the offer of a foursome and for everything else.

I look forward to another successful outing when we can enjoy a day of remembering our friend and brother. I hope to see you then – September 12th, 2011
