Golf Tournament Update

Dear Donors, Sponsors and Golfers,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your caring and generosity. After 16 years, we are all still keeping the Foundation, memory and legacy of Al McGregor alive. I would also like to acknowledge the ACM Board of Directors for their work: Attorney Andrew Berg, Lt. Tom Rush, Lt. Jim Nelson, Sgt Ken Luke, Sgt. Darren Ellinwood, Sgt. Todd Poland, Det. Cpl. Kevin Feeney, Paul Feeney and especially Stacy Feeney. We are still looking down the road toward our 20 year milestone.

In this past year, the money raised has continued to fund the McGregor Endowment at Roger Williams University, helped to support the Myron Francis Playground Project, provided opportunities to first-time offenders through the ‘Open Doors’ initiative, and contributed to Rhode Island Special Olympics events and more. Thank you all, again, for your support of the Fund and our children.

Now it is time to hold our breath and pray for good weather on September 11th.  Golfers, here is the information that you need concerning the McGregor Tournament:

McGregor 15th Annual Golf Tournament

The Major Alister C. McGregor Annual Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at Crestwood Country Club, located at 90 Wheeler Street, Rehoboth, Massachusetts on Monday, September 12th 2016. Registration begins at 7:30 AM with a shotgun start at 8:30. As in the past, the proceeds will be used to benefit the McGregor Scholarship Endowment at Roger Williams University, individual McGregor Fund education grants, and youth activities and enrichment programs designated by the McGregor Family and Charity Board of Directors.

Over the past two years, we have expanded the Fund’s mission. Once again, we are asking for your support for our annual fundraiser in the form of a donation, tee/flag sponsorship, or by entering a foursome to play in the Tournament.
