Major Alister C. McGregor Memorial Fund
17th Annual Golf Tournament
Dear Friend,
The Board of Directors of the Major Alister C. McGregor Memorial Fund would like to thank all our Sponsors and Donors for their caring and generosity over the past 17 years. We are pleased to announce that for the 5th year, the Major Alister C. McGregor Annual Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at Crestwood Country Club, located at 90 Wheeler Street, Rehoboth, Massachusetts on Monday, September 10th 2018. As in the past, the proceeds from the Tournament will be used to provide scholarships through the McGregor Endowment at Roger Williams University, and to support youth activities and programs designated by the McGregor Charities.
Over the past 17 years, our partnership has provided scholarships to the sons, daughters and extended family members of fallen police officers from the New England region. Over the years, we have continued our main mission to fund the McGregor Scholarship Endowment at Roger Williams University and to help and support projects and charities to help those in need. Through your kindness and generosity our partnership has been able to make a difference in the lives and the futures of so many – all in the name of a man who is still in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.
As we do every year, we are hoping that you will support our annual fundraiser in the form of a donation, tee/flag sponsorship, or by entering a foursome to play in the Tournament. Enclosed with this letter is a donation, sponsorship and tournament participant form. Please, fill it out and forward it along with your donation, sponsorship and/or fees to: The McGregor Memorial Fund, 105 Waterman Avenue #287, East Providence RI, 02914. As in the past, foursomes will be awarded on a first-come/first-served basis. The Tournament fills to full capacity very quickly, so return your entries early. The McGregor Fund is a recognized 501 [c] [3]. Your donation is tax deductible.
On behalf of the members of the McGregor Family, the East Providence Police Department, Roger Williams University, Board of Directors and our law enforcement family, partners and friends – thank you so very much.
