Our mission is to provide opportunities and support for our greatest resource – our children, in honor and remembrance of Alister McGregor, a man who made the ultimate sacrifice training others to keep our children safe and secure in our communities. Never forget his sacrifice, and that of the many brave and selfless heroes who dared to stand on the line to protect their communities. Always Remember.

15-Year Memorial Message

The McGregor Family, the Board of Directors of the ACM5 Fund, Roger Williams University and those that the Fund has supported over the years would like to thank all our donors, sponsors, volunteers and supporters for your generosity, time and commitment to keeping alive the memory of Alister McGregor. Over the years, your support and friendship has helped so many that have needed financial assitance and emotional support.

Today, as we take time to reflect back on the days prior to, and after that day of December 27th, 2001; our recollections remain so very vivid in our minds. For some, the past 15 years have passed very quickly, for others not so. Not everyone that we meet in our lives will hold a special significance. This time of year holds a special meaning for those special people. All that have had Al touch their lives have that special place in their hearts and thoughts. So please, on this day, say a prayer for Al and all those special people that have been lost to us to let them know how much we miss them.

Have a Safe and Happy New Year!

McGregor 15th Annual Golf Tournament

Annoucement: MAJOR ALISTER C. MCGREGOR MEMORIAL FUND 15TH ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Major Alister C. McGregor Annual Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at Crestwood Country Club, located at 90 Wheeler Street, Rehoboth, Massachusetts on Monday, September 12th 2016. Registration begins at 7:30 AM with a shotgun start at 8:30. As in the past, the proceeds will be used to benefit the McGregor Scholarship Endowment at Roger Williams University, individual McGregor Fund education grants, and youth activities and enrichment programs designated by the McGregor Family and Charity Board of Directors.

Over the past two years, we have expanded the Fund’s mission. Proceeds raised through our efforts have been used to enhance the McGregor Scholarship Endowment at Roger Williams University, provide individuals scholarships and grants. In addition to increasing the disbursements of the Endowment, last year’s funds purchased jerseys bearing a shield (with the number ‘5’ on the back) for the East Providence Hockey Program, and provided funds to support the activities of the Wampanoag Warriors, a group of Special Olympic Athletes from the East Providence, Barrington, Rehoboth and Seekonk area.

Once again, we are asking for your support for our annual fundraiser in the form of a donation, tee/flag sponsorship, or by entering a foursome to play in the Tournament. Please fill out and return the attached Donation Form along with your donation or Tournament fees to: The McGregor Memorial Fund, 105 Waterman Avenue #287, East Providence RI, 02914. As in the past, foursomes will be awarded on a first-come/first-served basis. The Tournament fills to full capacity very quickly, so make your request early. The McGregor Memorial Fund is a registered non-profit and your
donation is tax deductible. Make all checks payable to: The McGregor Memorial Fund.

On behalf of the members of the McGregor Family, the East Providence Police Department, and Roger Williams University, thank you so very much for your continued support.
